An Investigation of the Laws of Thought, on which are Founded the Mathematical Theories of Logic and Probabilities, 1st edition, London & Cambridge, 1854, errata leaf after preliminary leaves, L2 & Q8 cancelled as usual, 16 pp. publisher's catalogue (dated October 1867) bound at rear, ex-library with several purple ink stamps including to title, preface, contents leaf and final page, original blind-stamped zig zag cloth without the central lozenge and without Boole's name on spine, a little wear at head and foot of spine and some loss to lower part of spine not affecting imprint, a little split on joints, 8vo The probable second issue with the errata leaf following the last numbered leaf of preliminaries, but without the additional printed 'Note', and with the later 16-page catalogue, rather than an 8-page catalogue. The presumed first issue has a similar binding with a central lozenge and identical title-page giving the Walton and Maberly imprints as well as Macmillan & Co. Hook & Norman, Origins of Cyberspace, no. 224; Norman 266 (3rd issue). (1)
