AND Appointment as Medical Director in the Navy, Jan. 1873, vellum, 15.75 x 19.75", signed by U.S. Grant. Condition:1st is readable, but has condition problems, especially in the upper quarter and along folds. Other 2 have usual folds, light scattered foxing, but otherwise in very good condition.
