Presentation copy.- Liceti (Fortunio) De rationalis animae varia propensione ad corpus libri duo, title with woodcut printer's device, woodcut decorative initials and tail-pieces, Padua, Paolo Frambotti, 1634 bound with Gilioli (Giovanni Tommaso) Propugnatio naturalis inclinationis, title with woodcut ornament, woodcut head-pieces and decorative initials, Padua, Crivellari & Bortoli, 1635, together 2 works in 1 vol., water-stained, later vellum, preserving original red leather spine label, small 4to. ⁂ The first mentioned by this professor of philosophy at Pisa has an inscription recording it as a presentation copy from the author. This inscription has faded in time and has the ownership inscription of the noted Scottish collector Henryson written over it, who has recorded his acquisition as 'Padua, Dec, 1833'.
