Woodcut device ‘Virgin and Child’ to title-page, 2 four-line opening initials, marginal captions for verses throughout. Later paper boards, modern endpapers. Condition : two central wormholes to text block, only slightly affecting text, dampstains to head and gutter, slightly foxed, some creases; spine repaired with glue, worn. An interesting 16th-century prayer book from Germany including many psalms, verses and dedicatory prayers to the Virgin.
