12 vol., comprising A Question of Upbringing, first issue , slight shelf lean, minor loss to jacket corner tips and spine ends, 1951; A Buyer’s Market, jacket slightly torn at corners and with minor fraying at spine ends, 1952; The Acceptance World, 1955; At Lady Molly’s, light marking and small abrasion on lower panel of jacket, 1957; Casanova’s Chinese Restaurant, 1960; The Kindly Ones, jacket slightly browned at spine and top of upper panel, 1962; The Valley of Bones, signed by the author on title, with ownership inscription on front free endpaper, 1964; The Soldier’s Art, upper fore-corners bumped, jacket slightly rubbed at extremities, crease near 1 corner, spine very slightly dulled, 1966; The Military Philosophers, 1968; Books do Furnish a Room, ink marks on page facing title, 1971; Temporary Kings, jacket price-clipped, 1973; Hearing Secret Harmonies, 1975, first editions, first impressions , original cloth, dust-jackets, excepting any minor faults indicated very good to fine copies , 8vo .
