Poulenc’, the latter of whom has also inscribed the image, ’Pour Madame Lily May Caldwell, trés respecteusement’, name in pencil to verso, overall 235 x 175 mm (Quantity: 1) Lily May Caldwell (1897-1980), long-time entertainment and amusements editor for the Birmingham News in the USA. Her papers are held in the manuscripts collection of the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
