On the last page are inscriptions by Rabbi "Shlomo Leib". Rabbi Meir David Tabak (1850-1936, Otzar HaRabbanim 13046), son of the renowned Torah genius Rabbi Shlomo Yehuda Leib Tabak Rosh Av Beit Din of Sighet, author of “Erech Shai” and “Teshurat Shai” (1832-1908). Disciple of the Rahak of Sieniawa. Served as dayan and Rabbi of Kretchinef and succeeded his father as Av Beit Din of Sighet. According to his tombstone, he wrote a book called “Birkat Shadayim” but apparently, it was never printed. [1], 188 leaves. 33.5 cm. Good-fair condition, worn from use. Worn binding.
