An assembled late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver three-piece tea service, Cutch circa 1890 Raj period. Comprising a teapot, a covered milk jug and a matched twin handled covered sugar bowl. Each of spherical form upon four feet, the sugar bowl with scroll feet. The teapot with a curved spout opposite a D section handle, leading to a hinged domed lid surmounted by a finial of a caparisoned elephant statant. The milk and sugar with similar lids. Each with chased decoration of foliate scrolls and rosettes, the sugar bowl with pursuant animals. Each with a vacant shield shape cartouche to the side.
