Lot of 15. A 6 x 4 in. photograph of the British Royal Flying Corps posed with aerial camera equipment ca. 1918; a photograph of World War I German planes, one with the insignia of the "Flying Circus," noted on the reverse as planes given to the United States after the armistice; a large mounted photograph of gentlemen, one dressed in an aviators outfit, 9.5 x 12 in; six additional photographs, some stamped on the reverse by photographer Joseph Burt, Mineloa, New York, including images of Colonel Cornelous Vanderbily embarking on a plane with Guy Gilpatrick, an individual photograph of Guy Gilpatrick, who was at one time the youngest pilot in the world, and a socialite entering into a baloon; a real photo postcard of Charles Lindbergh and his wife; 2 covers for the Aeronautical Society; and 3 miscellaneous papers related to aviation. Provenance:Property of N. Flayderman & Co. Condition: Most of the items are in good condition with some toning. Some have markings on the reverse in either pencil or pen.
