"Buffalo Bill" Cody and members of his family. Collection features several images of Cody's daughters, Irma and Arta Cody, including photographs of them as both little girls and young women, posed with Buffalo Bill and their mother, Louisa. Irma also appears in photographs from her first wedding to Army Lt. Clarence A. Stott in 1903, as well as with second husband Frederick H. Garlow and their three children, including one studio portrait of the Garlow family with verso inscription reading, "taken shortly before Fred & Irma passed away in the flu epidemic three days apart in Cody Wyo. 1918." "Grandmother Cody" is also identified in several photographs, including one of her with either a young Bill or Fred Garlow, Jr. Provenance:Descended directly in the family of William F.
