(a1 and p6 laid down on recto and verso respectively, quires e-i and l1 close cut and extended at margins, d5 torn across the page, light worming of early quires, hole causing loss to one line of text on a2, holes also affecting d2, e7-8, g4, g7 and i2, i6 and i8 holed and stained, m2 with larger hole at margin, d8v browned.) 18th-century vellum over pasteboard, marbled endpapers (lightly soiled). BMC notes that the same watermarks are found in both the signed and unsigned quires, the partial use of signatures suggesting that the book 'may belong to December, 1474 (or possibly to January, 1475)'.
