The rear action lock and hammer are scroll engraved, with the hammer having a dolphin form. The derringer is adorned with German silver furniture, including a flash shield, sideplate, triggerguard, shield form thumbrest, buttcap and engraved escutcheons. The triggerguard is scroll engraved, and features a figural finial. The walnut stock is checkered, and has a tapered forend. Condition: The barrel has a gunmetal patina with light speckling. The stock has one light scratch by the sideplate, and is in otherwise excellent condition. The bore and action are very good to excellent. This is a fine example of a derringer.
