Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut tall case clock, ca. 1795, the pendulum inscribed John Vanderslice Womelsdorf, with an elaborate broken arch bonnet with turned finials, rosettes, dentil moldings, and barley twist columns enclosing and eight day works with painted face, above a scalloped door, flanked by fluted quarter columns, over a base with applied scalloped panel supported by ogee bracket feet, retaining an old dry surface, 97 1/2" h., together with a framed group of ephemera pertaining to John Vanderslice detailing his workshop located at the George Wayne Tavern in Womelsdorf.
