SECOND EDITION (revised and with two more plates than the first edition), UNCUT IN THE RARE ORIGINAL BOARDS. William PATERSON. Contemporary tree calf, gilt (rebacked, old spine laid down). Provenance : Sir George Francis Seymour (1787-1870, armorial bookplate, by descent); Francis George Hugh Seymour, 4th Marquis of Hertford (1812-1884, Armorial Ragley Hall library bookplate). FIRST EDITION. This is Paterson's description of the four plant hunting trips he made for his patron, the Countess of Strathmore.
