A very fine and rare platinum square wristwatch Signed Patek Philippe, Genève, Ref. 2422, movement No. 951’396, case no. 647’590, manufactured in 1947 MOVEMENT: manual, cal. 10’’’200, Geneva seal, 18 jewels, stamped HOX DIAL: silvered matte, Arabic enamel and applied baton numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds CASE: platinum square, stepped bezel, rounded corners, snap on back, extended lugs, 28.5 mm. wide SIGNED: case, dial and movement BUCKLE: 18K white gold Patek Philippe buckle ACCOMPANIED BY: Patek Philippe original letter dated 8 May 1989 confirming the sale of the watch in 1948 and The Art of Patek Philippe Geneva 150th anniversary commemorative medal. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with white gold raised indexes in 1947 and its subsequent sale on 5 April 1948
