This process is repeated until the cloisons are filled to the top of the wire.
Patek Philippe first employed the World Time complication in its wristwatches during the 1930s, when the complication was first invented by Swiss watchmaker, Louis Cottier (1894-1966). Cottier's classic world time wristwatch depicted 24-time zones simultaneously, with the local time zone of the wearer controlled through a pusher in the case whilst automatically correcting the position of the 24 hour dial.Additional informationAuction informationBonhams cannot arrange for the delivery of lots containing mother of pearl or ruby into the United States due to import restrictions. Please note that in some circumstances we are unable to ship the watch with its strap due to regulations regarding material derived from endangered or otherwise protected species. The buyer or designated agent may collect the property in the country of sale. For information and estimates on domestic and international shipping please contact ThePackengers on:
