Beschreibung:

Passover Seder plate. [Jerusalem, 1920s]. Printed silk; cotton; metal. Four round plates connected by stems with legs. On the upper plate - a printed silk fabric (Solomon printing press, Jerusalem) with verses and decorations about Passover and the Holy Places. A piece of fabric surrounds the plate and covers the upper fabric and the plate, ending with a decorative ribbon made of golden metal-threads. This special plate was presented as a gift for donors to Colel Shomre Hachomoth in Jerusalem. Height: 17 cm, max. diameter: 39 cm. Good-fair condition. Some corrosion and bends to metal.
