Part I [all published], the set of 3 lithographed plates by Louis Haghe after W.W.Young, hand-coloured and heightened with gum arabic, all on india paper and mounted, the first plate marked 'Proof', all trimmed (the second omitting publisher) and tipped to thin card leaves with card aperture mounts, all on stubs, all lightly soiled, the last with slight spotting, the first with small tear to upper edge slightly affecting image but skilfully repaired, with modern booklet comprising photographs of the original upper wrapper, the prospectus and the 3 plates in uncoloured state in pocket at end, modern dark blue morocco, gilt, by Zaehnsdorf, title in gilt on upper cover, one or two small scuffs, [Abbey, Life 412, uncoloured; Haskell 1531; Not in Ottley], oblong imperial 4to, Bristol, John Wright [c.1836]. *** "Of considerable rarity: no copy in the British Museum, or Bristol Public Libraries. The Records Office of the Great Western Railway possesses copies of the prints but not the printed wrappers." Abbey
