Errata slip tipped-in at beginning. (Some offsetting and light staining, a few tears to folds.) Contemporary boards (rebacked, some wear to corners). Provenance : H.W. Irinder (bookplate). FIRST EDITION. Parry had sailed to the Arctic under Sir John Ross "In the spring of 1819, Parry was appointed to the command of this expedition..." (Hill).
