Waterman fanciers will observe that the barrels, though bearing the Parker imprint, are made of Waterman's proprietary "Patrician Turquoise" plastic. According to penman's lore, Waterman was unable to meet their purchase quota for this material in 1930, and the supplier thus sold the overstock to Parker for use in their pens and pencils. Very fine or better condition.
