Black metal desk base with chrome accents, Art Deco design, with built-in ink blotter and two tulip-form holders. Includes Parker desk fountain pen and propelling pencil, black taper-ends with marbled turquoise barrels, button-filler pen with circle-vent Parker nib, very slight flex. Waterman fanciers will observe that the barrels, though bearing the Parker imprint, are made of Waterman's proprietary "Patrician Turquoise" plastic. According to penman's lore, Waterman was unable to meet their purchase quota for this material in 1930, and the supplier thus sold the overstock to Parker for use in their pens and pencils. Very fine or better condition.
