Center inset captioned: “Congressmen in Whose Honor Review Was Held” showing 9 high ranking officials present during the ceremony, including: Gen. Drum, Gov. Poindexter, Cong. Chair Parks, Cong. Blanton, Cong. McMillan, Cong. Snyder, Gen. Dorey, Sect. Pugh and Cong. Dockweiler. Inset to right of Gen. Drum saluting. Impressive sweeping panoramic view within and around Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Major parade procession in honor of Gen. Drum’s (1879-1951) inauguration as Pacific U.S. Army Commander, Hawaiian Department, including several military personnel, trucks, troops, and railroad tracks present. During WWII, Gen. Drum was assigned to China and later retired in 1943. A son of a Civil War veteran, served in the Philippines in the early 1900's and worked as Gen. Pershing's chief of staff (American Expeditionary Force). Photographer’s copyrighted logo and lettering in bottom right corner. Lot Amendments Condition: Light wear, slight wrinkling, one marginal tear; very good or better. Item number: 174811
