Small 4to, nineteenth-century crushed olive morocco, covers with blind roll-tooled palmetto border, g.e., joints and head and tail of spine rubbed, spine discolored to brown, title-page slightly soiled, single tiny wormhole through all leaves, some light offsetting, the folding tables with 1/2-inch tears at mount (the 3rd repaired), the 4th with a skilfully repaired 4-inch tear , FIRST EDITION, woodcut device on title, woodcut head-pieces and initials, four folding tables, ruled in red throughout. STC 19156 ("Imitated from T. Zwinger's Methodus Apodemica , 1577").
