.612 bore diameter, 7" tapered round barrels with ribs running from the breech to 2.5" finishing in a teardrop. Marked in the rib BarBar. Beveled lockplates marked Barber. Fine sterling silver mounted and hallmarked furniture. Nicely shaped fishtail butts with longspurs. The pommel has carved design surrounding nicely chiseled mask of a lions face chased in relief. Sideplates are intricate openwork design cast and chased with classic motifs of flowers, swags & tassels interlaced with leaves and sprays. Nicely carved walnut stocks. Condition: barrel and locks are nicely cleaned in the European manner. Stocks are untouched with nice varnished patina.
