Paris: Berggruen, 1962. 30 black and white photographs, machine-numbered on the verso, each in paper cover with printed caption. Original thick paper chemise with pochoir title on the front cover, original cloth portfolio ILLUSTRATED BY POCHOIR AFTER A DESIGN BY PICASSO (scattered spotting). FIRST EDITION. Each of the 30 images is a collaborative work, Picasso's cut-ups interacting with Viller's photographs. Number 485 of 900 from an edition of 1000 copies. Villers began taking portraits of Picasso, Arp, and numerous other contemporaries from the mid 1950s onwards.
