DSP. A wonderfully clean and bright example of this Circa 1920's Porcelain Service Station Sign from Shell Motor Oils. Sign is shaped in the iconic clamshell style and shows yellow and red Shell colors throughout the field. CONDITION: Side one is in overall outstanding condition showing outstanding color and gloss throughout the super clean field showing no chips. Side one shows clean lettering with only very minor chipping along the outer edge as well as light chipping at one of the mounting holes. Overall side one displays extremely clean and would be tough to upgrade, Grade 9.0. Side two also shows outstanding color and gloss throughout the field showing clean lettering as well as bright colors. Side two shows minor chipping at the lower right edge as well as some light chips at the lower left but are not overly distracting from the extremely clean field, Grade 9.0.
