Also, in separate archival frame, 3 original preliminary pencil sketches, each signed by Schwinger, each showing a different version, matted (in separate section), 35½x11¾" overall. Not examined outside of frames. Painting shows a bit more around the margins than the published version. Includes a copy of the published book (for which this painting was used), Ballantine / Del Rey, first paperback printing, code #32588, [October 1985]. Lot Amendments Condition: Mild reading wear (creases) to paperback, very good; tiny brown paper /color residue in sky of painting, else painting and drawings fine. Item number: 182273
