First state of the second worldmap by Visscher prepared for a Dutch bible in 1663 with shortened title (without privilege) in a banner. The mapping is almost identical to the first one of 1657 (cf. S. 401) with California as peninsula, but with insertion of a coastline of "Zelandia Nova", and lacking the celestial charts (in the eastern hemisphere). - Col. in full. Cleaned and sized, still light browning and spotting in places; light shine-through of text. Folded at sides.
