Contemp. calf, large blind-st. filets and rolled frame with central gilt coat of arms on boards, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, ms. mention "Tacite" on lower edge (skilfully restored, some scratches on boards, lower turn-in missing, some def. on joints and corners). Nice copy. Reprint of the 1607 and 1627 Moretus ed. of Tacitus and Velleius Paterculus, edited by Lipsius. Engr. mark on title. Woodcut marks on part titles and at end.
