The present copy with early scholarly ink marginalia in Greek throughout. Taped to the front free endpaper is a letter, in French, dated 1877, presenting the book. Lot Amendments Condition: Rubbing and wear to covers, oval space on front cover where a medallion was apparently removed; some light foxing within, light mostly marginal dampstaining to earlier and latter leaves, ½x2¼" piece cut from lower margin of first leaf; very good or better, an attractive copy.
