The CB160 was a spine-framed roadster, fitted with an ohc twin and succeeded in 1968 by the CD175. This Honda racing machine comprises an up-graded CB160 frame with race suspension and a 200mm Honda CB 77 twin-leading-shoe, race-lined front brake. This is fitted with a 175cc big-valve ohc full-race unit which has a 180degree crank-shaft, as the CR93, a Phil Joy camshaft, CB72 carburettors and a five-speed ‘box. CMRC-Registered for the up to 200cc class, this lovely machine was revised and rebuilt by Steve Lawton and, as offered here, won the 2009 ACU North-West 250cc Classic Championship.
