Note: Tove and Edvard established a studio to work on furniture design, jewelry, accessories, textiles and architecture. Edvard was a trained architect, and Tove studied under Kaare Klint at the Department of Furniture Design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The couple played a significant role in the development of Danish furniture design through their involvement with the Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibitions from the 1930s to the 1960s. Edvard Kindt-Larsen was head of the exhibitions from 1943-1966. Together they organized the exhibitions, and influenced Danish consumers to buy individual pieces of furniture instead of acquiring complete living spaces which had been the traditional approach.
