Beschreibung:

Vier bedeutende Louis XV-Fauteuils en cabriolet 89 x 60 x 54 cm. Paris, um 1750.
Holz geschnitzt und vergoldet. Die vier Stühle auf gestelzten Rollwerkbeinen stehend. Die Beine mit Voluten an die Wellenzarge ansetzend, aus welcher gedrehte gepolsterte Armlehnen erwachsen. Diese ansetzend an die trapezförmige Rückenlehne mit geschnitzter vegetabiler Zier. Feine hohe Seidenpolsterung in hellem Blau mit roten Blüten wie bei Kjellberg ersichtlich. Provenienz: Wohl Sammlung Jean Lupu, Paris. Anmerkung: Nicolas Heurtaut (1720-1771) war Maître menuisier. Er entwarf zahlreiche Möbel für das französische Königshaus und die Bourgeoisie. Werke seiner Hand können heute im J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, im Metropolitan Museum of Art und in der Frick Collection in New York City bewundert werden.
