March, an early football historian and promoter, and a medical doctor. Comprising a hand on bracelet 1926, a tombstone style dated 1929, and two oblong pieces, dated 1930 and 1931, depicting three fans on bleecher seats, all four pieces bear the name of Chas. A. Stoneham Pres. and are marked Lambert Bros. N.Y. Sterling. Very Fine. VF NB: Appranently given to Ms. Kirwan, who was friends of Tim Mara owner of the NY Giants. Ms. Kirwan was a fascinating New Yorker, a professional singer, known as the Virginia Nightingale, one of the earliest women sports writers and a big fan of the NY Giants and NY Yankees. She later became a supervisor for the New York City Parks & Recreation department. Known to many prominent sports figures of the period.
