Mortimer, Armourr. H.M.S. Excellent 21 Yrs); Turkish Crimea, British issue, unnamed, edge bruising and contact marks to the first, nearly very fine, otherwise very fine or better (4) £1200-1400 Footnote Ex Blair Collection 1934. Thomas H. Mortimer served as Armourer aboard the Rodney in the Crimea, and aboard the Esk in New Zealand. He received his L.S. & G.C. Medal on 9 June 1873, whilst serving as Armourer on board H.M.S. Excellent.
