London: Thomas M'Lean, 1839-49. 4 volumes, 2° (565 x 460mm). 4 hand-coloured lithographic pictorial titles, 100 hand-coloured lithographic plates (two with two views) by Hullmandel after Nash, mounted on heavy card and individually captioned in pencil within ruled borders. (Title mounts lightly discoloured, and one or two others very lightly dust-soiled, not affecting lithographs, without the dedication leaves often missing.) Loose as issued, in original red leather-backed cloth portfolios with leather title label on front covers (slight wear to spines, lacking silk ties).
