12 ga., circa about 1800-1820. The locks were signed but have been polished out and are now illegible. The barrels have been shortened to 25" and were at least 6" longer originally. 40.5" overall. Condition: The barrels show a fire-type European refinish and the locks have been polished to bright. The hammers and small parts are original. The wood has had a Monte Carlo-style cheek piece added by a gunsmith probably in the 19th century when it was reduced. The right lock works but the left does not stay on full cock. Good overall.
