Seale, Colonial Secretary & Lieutenant Colonel of the St Helena Local Militia to the Hon. W. Wilde, Chief Justice and Member of Council to attend the exhumation of Napoleon’s body, 3 loose photographs, comprising: Napoleon’s Tomb, House in Jamestown occupied by Wellington & Napoleon and the house of Wilde and Napoleon’s fish pond, 1 memoriam card for William Wilde 2 maps (1 double page), 1 geological section of St. Helena, 10 chromolithographed views, 6 zoological and 32 botanical chromolithograph plates, 5 uncoloured lithographed plates, tissue guards (some torn), some plates and text loose, others working loose, front free endpaper loose, contemporary half calf, rubbed, lacks spine, covered in laminate, 8vo. 1875.
