NABOKOV, Vladimir (1899-1977). Autograph list of errata for the first English edition of Lolita , 59 words or phrases with page numbers, 21 marked 'NB', meaning 'Especially bad', in pencil and pen on half-title and title extracted from the same edition (London: Wiedenfeld and Nicolson, 1959), the latter annotated ' presumably now correct in English editions, Mai [ sic ] 1962', 2 leaves, 8vo , with two typescript lists of corrections; with Nabokov's copy of the Corgi edition (6th English printing, 1961), with a single emendation (of a comma), to p.41. Provenance : by descent from Vladimir Nabokov.
