High condition specimen of Colt M16A1 machine gun with both standard buttstock and also VLTOR telescoping buttstock with spare contoured handgrip, and extra birdcage flash hider and spare buffer spring. Classic Colt logo and address with serial number on left side of receiver and three-position selector, "Safe, Semi, Auto". Currently configured with 13” round handguard “C MP” upper with standard bolt, and clamp-on carrying handle/sight assembly. 2nd upper is 15-1/2" with 5.56 mm 1/17 twist barrel, bayonet lug, Knight’s Armament handguard/rail system and clamp on carrying handle/sight assembly, and BCM gunfighter charging handle. 3rd upper is 11-1/2" and has Adams Armament GB1 rail system with fluted lightened bolt, BCM gunfighter charging handle, and both flip-up peep and front sights and also L3 EOTech sight clamped onto the rail. Three Colt 30 round magazines and one unmarked 30 round magazine as well as a new-in-wrapper sling, and cleaning rod are included as well as Colt manual, and original box with matching number on end. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish on all parts is absolutely outstanding, near mint original finish on all metal parts with perhaps a handling mark or two upon the closest possible inspection (I cannot ever say perfect, but I can say close to it). Mechanics are crisp. An absolutely fabulous Colt M16A1 ensemble which will please the most discerning and discriminating modern military machine gun enthusiast.
