Two beautiful works in the first edition. The first work, dedicated to Giambattista Martini, also contains two long letters, one to the mathematician Sebastiano Canterzani with his answer, and another to the musician Giuseppe Tartini. Gamba defines the Milanese musicologist Sacchi «scrittore molto forbito», and according to Fétis, his many works are«remplis d'èrudition et de science». Gamba 2426 nota. "Acciocché il discorso sia pieno, e compiuto, io passeré dalla Musica a parlare del Ballo; e della Poesia. Anche nel Ballo, e nella Poesia il tempo si divide, e misura; e le materie, che pendono dagli stessi, o da simili principj, é molto bene, che insieme si piglino a trattare". Fètis VII, 360.
