MUSICIANS AND ENTERTAINERS] Two autograph albums containing over 130 signatures, comprising: Album bound in red cloth, small oblong 4°, 76pp, with signatures and signed photographs of Thomas Beecham, Yehudi Menuhin, Adrian Boult, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Arnold Bax, Beniamino Gigli, Elizabeth Schwartzkopf and a musical quotation from Hadyn Wood, also Myra Hess, Mickey Rooney, Douglas Montgomery, Trevor Howard, Ivor Novello and the Welsh playwrite Emlyn Williams, amongst others. Another smaller album, 60pp, containing the signatures of Henry J. Wood Rex Harrison, Robert Donat, Ann Todd, Paul Robeson, Gracie Fields, Harry Lauder, Billy Cotton and his band of 1940, and others. With four other loose items; a programme signed by Mark Hambourg, a programme for a Hallé orchestra concert in Brighton, June 1950, signed by the conductor John Barbirolli, a one-page autograph letter signed 'Charles Hallé' and an autograph musical quotation of three bars of Vaughan Williams's London Symphony by Adrian Boult.
