MOTOBI IMPERIALE SPORT '50s Engine No. 420542 VIN No. 420542 125cc – 4 STROKE Not registered, without documents Motobi was founded by Giuseppe Benelli who in 1949 separated from his brothers, leaving the family business to set up the new brand, which was always distinguished by truly remarkable stylistic and technical solutions. In particular, the characteristic 'egg' shape of the engine, designed in 1955 by the ingenuity of Piero Prampolini, which equipped many models of the Pesaro-based brand to the point of becoming an original distinguishing mark. The 125cc Imperiale model was presented at the Milan Motor Show in 1956 in standard and Sport versions, the latter credited with a power output of 5.80HP at 6,500 rpm. The proposed Imperiale Sport is restored and in excellent condition. A general inspection before use is recommended.
