Photographer: Alexis S. Mazourine (1846 - 1911) and Joseph Daziaro (active 1870s-1880s). Views of Moscow . 1880s-1890s. 5 albumen prints and 3 collodion paper prints on strong card. Each circa 22 x 28 cm and 17 x 23,5 cm. Some photos numbered and titled in the negative in lower edge, 3 with photographer's blindstamp in lower corners. Includes five views, most likely by Joseph Daziaro of Moscow, one showing a busy business street with large department stores and where Joseph Daziaro's studio can be seen. Two show the Red Square, one a panoramic view of the Kremlin and the famous Tsar Bell. The three images by Mazourine show a troika with a travelling carriage, a horse sleigh and one view of the Kremlin in winter. – Some prints with minor tears in edges, some corners creased, some handling marks, one with larger surface abrasion, otherwise in very good condition with strong contrasts.
