A History of British Butterflies..., London: Groombridge and Sons, 1865, approximately 71 plates (mostly coloured), Caverly Bewicke, Close House armorial bookplate and booksellers ticket to front pastedown, minor spotting throughout, all edges gilt, contemporary purple morocco, gilt decorated spine and boards, 8vo, together with: Humphreys (Henry Noel). The Genera and Species of British Butterflies. Described and arranged according to the system now adopted in the British Museum, London: Paul Jerrard and Son, [circa 1859], hand-coloured frontispiece, 32 hand-coloured lithograph plates, occasional light spotting, all edges gilt, original gilt-decorated purple cloth, spine a little faded with rubbed head and foot, edges bumped, tall 8vo, Kirby (William Forsell). The Butterflies and Moths of Europe..., London: Cassell and Company Limited, 1903, approximately 54 coloured plates and many in-text illustrations, some marginalia numbering in light blue ink, bookbinders blind stamp to front blank, all edges gilt, 20th-century half calf by Biddle & Son, rebacked with original spine relaid, red morocco title label renewed, some wear to extremities, corners bumped, 4to (Quantity: 3)
