Tranches dorées. Dentelle intérieure. Portrait-frontispice, 2 ff. et 139 pp. Première édition; comme à l'accoutumée, il manque les pp. 117 à 130 contenant les 3 poèmes sur Cromwell considéré à l'époque déjà comme politiquement incorrect. « In this volume are first printed most of Marvell's bestknown poetry, including "To His Coy Mistress" ("Had we but World enough, and Time..."), "A Dialogue Between the Soul and Body," "The Garden," "The Drop of Dew," "The Nymph Complaining of the Death of Her Faun," "The Picture of Little T.C. in a Prospect of Flowers," and the sequence of Mower poems. [Allison 9A; Grolier Wither to Prior 536; Hayward 126; Pforzheimer 671; Wing M872]. Reliure postérieure, mors, coins et coiffes frottées. Un peu court en marge extérieure.
