Includes 24 4 x 5 in. snapshots of what appears to be southern California and Southwest landscapes. Many have labels on verso, and one is of the Santa Ana River, another of a "Hot Springs Hotel" (?possibly Desert Hot Springs in California?), and one that is a typical southwestern arbor with the note on the back "Making Saddle-Blankets." There are many images of coaches, ranch houses, and more. There are two other odd-sized images that appear to be part of this same series. One cdv with penciled "Darwin" on verso, backmark of Sarony, NY. We are not certain of this identification, and there is no evidence that an American company printed Darwin's photo. There are two cabinet photos of Niagara Falls. Plus a panoramic linen-backed image taken from deep center field of a baseball game, folds in half, with"Janesville Cardinals-vs-Fairbanks Morse July 25, 1915 / Fairbanks Morse Park, Beloit Wis." Condition: One snapshot is scratched; baseball image folded, but appears to have been made to do that. Others are fine.
