Mircea Marosin (Romanian, 1921-2007) collection of finished and unfinished abstract and figural scenes, various sizes, some monogrammed, all on paper. Born in Bucharest in 1921, Mircea Marosin was a self-taught artist whose skill set covered painting, theatre design and poetry. His life in the UK began following an invitation from the British Council in 1969 to design for the Royal Hunt of the Sun. During his career Marosin exhibited his paintings extensively as well as his set and costume designs, starting in London 1976 he reached cities such as Brussels, Tokyo, Jerusalem and Sao Paolo. Provenance: collection was inherited from the artist.
