bust length, wearing blue coat, red waistcoat and white stock, in pivotted reversible gilt metal brooch frame, watercolour on ivory, oval 35mm. high ; with an early 19th century portrait miniature of a naval officer, half length, in white-fronted blue coat with gold buttons, in gilt metal frame, glazed both sides, oval 63mm. high ; with 2, later, continental portrait miniatures, one half length of Frederick the Great, the other three quarter length of Jenny Lind, the latter painted over a photo-lithographic image, both in piano-key frames, both oval, each c.80mm. high
