The plates and illustrations in the text depict the numerous triumphal arches erected throughout the city, several floats designed for the events, a company of armed guards, the Duchess's elaborate procession, and a ceremony gifting her symbolic keys to Metz by a cortege of welcoming officials. Berlin 2993; Brunet II, 1147; Ruggieri 437; Vinet 783.
