Morgan, Jr. Updike was selected to design and print a revision to the text. "It is interesting that it was the decoration and not the typography that Updike was asked to contribute to the Prayer Book of 1892. Though that was a decade which embraced much elaboration—some with elegance—there was a failure to blend the previously printed text with its superimposed borders. Thirty-five years later an entirely new aesthetic would lead to a Prayer Book devoid of any kind of decoration." - Hutner, p. 6. Leaf included in The Making of The Book of Common Prayer is composed of pp. 47-48, headed Prayers. Additional shipping charges may apply
